Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is to close the registration for the Geologist Examination, 2022 today, October 12, 2021 by 06.00 PM. UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria
For Geologist Group ‘A’ – Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration etc.
For Geophysicist Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’ – in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Investigation
For Chemist Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) – M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University.
Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrology) for Group ‘A’ – Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology or Hydrology from a recognized University.
Age Limit (as on 1st January 2022):
a) For Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist (Group ‘A’) – A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.
b) For Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrology) Group ‘A’, Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’ – A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.

Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking OR Challan in Any Branch of SBI.
For Gen/OBC: 200/-
For Female / SC / ST / PH candidates: no fee
